Experienced Paralegal – Litigation / Healthcare – Philadelphia, PA
- Law firm seeking a full-time paralegal with litigation / healthcare experience
- Located in Philadelphia, PA
- Part of a large civil defense litigation firm
- Defends medical professionals and providers in all areas of health care liability
- Practice includes medical malpractice, credentialing and licensing issues, and investigations involving governmental agencies

Job Duties:
- Obtain, review, and analyze documents, including medical records and financial records
- Create medical record chronologies
- Prepare for trial by organizing trial notebooks, exhibits, and witness files
- Compile evidence and supporting information from records, discovery documents, and databases
- Manage files and documents
- Coordinate with support services, clients, opposing law firms, and courts
- Manage court docket calendar
- Generate status reports, logs, and indexes
- Correspond with clients and opposing law firms
- Conduct research and analysis on case issues, including medical and expert research
- Communicate with experts and investigate their qualifications and experience
- Perform additional duties as needed

Job Requirements:
- 3-5 years of experience in healthcare litigation
- Bachelor's or Associate's degree required
- Paralegal certificate from an ABA-approved program preferred
