Job Title: Foreclosure Paralegal
Job Responsibilities:
- Manage the foreclosure process from referral through conclusion, ensuring all steps are completed in a timely manner.
- Order title searches and obtain necessary payoffs to proceed with foreclosure actions.
- Prepare various legal documents including deeds, assignments, and letters.
- Meet time-sensitive deadlines to ensure compliance with legal and client requirements.
- Provide regular updates and timely responses to clients, ensuring clear communication throughout the foreclosure process.
- Handle a high volume of cases, maintaining organization and attention to detail.
- Conduct research and writing tasks as necessary to support foreclosure proceedings.
- Maintain confidence and comfort in phone communications with clients and other parties involved in the foreclosure process.
- Work independently and manage workload efficiently, even under pressure.
Education and Experience:
- A minimum of 2 years of experience related to foreclosure is required.
- Broad knowledge of real estate default services is essential.
- Experience with software systems such as LPS, Caseaware, and Tempo is considered a plus.
- Candidates must possess superior organizational, research, and writing skills.
- Attention to detail and the ability to work independently are crucial.
- The ability to manage a heavy workload and meet deadlines is required.
- Strong communication skills, particularly over the phone, are necessary.
- Candidates should work well under pressure.
