Job Title: Content Manager

Job Responsibilities:
- Manage, update, and optimize website content to ensure accuracy, timeliness, and alignment with the law firm's brand and business objectives.
- Write and regularly update attorney and professional biographies, capturing individual strengths and achievements while maintaining consistency in tone and style.
- Develop custom pitch materials that highlight essential differentiators and key themes to win new business in collaboration with client development managers.
- Develop and maintain compelling practice area descriptions that showcase the law firm's expertise and value proposition for prospective clients.
- Collaborate with attorneys, practice leaders, and business development teams to identify content needs and gather relevant information for content creation.
- Ensure all content adheres to brand guidelines, legal compliance, and industry best practices, including accessibility and SEO optimization.
- Analyze content performance using analytics tools, providing regular reports and recommendations for improvement.
- Oversee the editorial calendar for web and print content, ensuring timely delivery of content to support marketing campaigns, events, and firm news.
- Assist in drafting and editing press releases, bylined articles, and thought leadership pieces for publication on the law firm's website, third-party media, and legal directories.
- Serve as a resource for other team members, providing guidance on content strategy, messaging, and best practices.

Education and Experience Information:
- Bachelor’s degree in English, Journalism, Communications, Marketing, or a related field is required.
- 6–8 years of experience in content management, with a strong preference for experience in a law firm or professional services setting.
- Exceptional writing, editing, and proofreading skills, with demonstrated experience producing high-quality content for websites, press releases, bylined articles, and professional bios.
- Proven ability to translate complex legal topics into clear, accessible, and engaging content for a variety of audiences.
- Strong project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines simultaneously.
- Experience collaborating with subject matter experts and stakeholders at all levels of an organization.
- Attention to detail, commitment to accuracy, and a proactive approach to content governance and compliance.
- Familiarity with legal industry trends, terminology, and ethical considerations is highly desirable.

Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience supporting business development, proposals, or legal directory submissions.
- Knowledge of graphic design, video, or multimedia content creation is a plus.
- Previous experience managing external vendors or freelance writers.
