Job Title: Real Estate Paralegal
Job Responsibilities:
- Interact with company divisions to help manage real estate deals.
- Draft and review conveyance and finance documentation, including deeds, mortgages, promissory notes, releases, leases, easements, loan and escrow agreements, title reports and documents, contracts, amendments, and assignments.
- Track all due diligence requirements, key dates, title, and survey reviews.
- Prepare title objection letters, extension letters, and amendments to contracts.
- Review permits, licenses, and subdivision plans.
- Draft, negotiate, and analyze leases and prepare abstracts.
- Prepare documentation relevant to closing, post-closing, dedication of public improvements, homeowner community issues, and third-party home sale conveyances.
- Perform all other duties as assigned.
Education and Experience Information:
Essential:
- Paralegal Certificate from an ABA-approved institution or 5 years of paralegal experience.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office skills.
Preferred:
- 5 plus years of Real Estate Paralegal experience.
- Bachelor’s Degree.
- In-house experience.
