Job Title: Proposal Specialist (RFPs)
Job Responsibilities:
As a Proposal Specialist at the law firm, you will be integral in acquiring new business and demonstrating the firm's leading capabilities. Your responsibilities include:
- Leading and coordinating high-profile RFP (Request for Proposal) responses for major clients.
- Collaborating directly with attorneys and business development teams to create tailored and persuasive proposals.
- Managing tight deadlines while juggling multiple projects efficiently.
- Crafting, editing, and proofreading marketing content to ensure clarity and style.
- Utilizing tools such as Word, Excel, PowerPoint, SharePoint, and CRM platforms to achieve results.
This role is fast-paced and hands-on, highlighting your organizational abilities, project management skills, and team orientation.
Education and Experience Information:
- Exceptional writing, editing, and communication skills are required.
- A minimum of 6 years of experience in a law firm or professional services environment.
- Strong organizational and project management skills.
- A keen eye for detail and a commitment to quality.
- Ability to take initiative, maintain composure under pressure, and manage your workflow independently.
- Proficiency in AP style writing.
- Experience with CRM tools like InterAction or Salesforce is preferred.
- A background in journalism, communications, law, or marketing is advantageous.

The compensation for this position is geographically dependent, with variations based on location and cost of living considerations. Compensation Range:
- Chicago: $95,000 - $114,000
- Los Angeles: $95,000 - $118,000
- Bay Area: $95,000 - $129,000
