In this role, you will have the opportunity to work with a team of experienced attorneys and assist clients in developing proactive strategies and policies to create a high-functioning and diverse workforce. You will also have the chance to represent clients in traditional labor relations matters, including NLRB charges, collective bargaining agreements, and grievance and arbitration proceedings. Additionally, you will provide legal advice on a variety of workplace issues and may have the opportunity to travel for business.

Key Responsibilities:

- Represent employers in traditional labor relations matters, including NLRB charges and elections
- Provide legal advice on federal and California workplace laws and other assignments as needed
- Conduct due diligence for workplace law issues related to acquisitions and mergers
- Advise employers on wage and hour issues, leave management, and disability accommodations
- Review handbooks, policies, and forms for compliance with federal and state law
- Conduct management training on labor relations and workplace issues

Qualifications:

- JD from an ABA accredited law school
- 4-6 years of experience in litigation or advice work as an attorney
- Experience in traditional labor law preferred
- Familiarity with federal and/or California workplace laws preferred
- Admission to the California Bar
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
- Strong written and oral communication abilities
- Bilingual in English and Spanish preferred but not required
