Job Title: Conflicts Analyst
Job Responsibilities:
The Conflicts Analyst at the law firm is tasked with managing all conflicts-related functions during the initial intake of new clients and matters, as well as producing the conflict results report. Key responsibilities include:
- Processing conflict searches for new client and matter requests promptly.
- Conducting detailed corporate research using various resources, analyzing, interpreting, and applying information from recent press releases and historical references.
- Thoroughly reviewing Intapp Open workflow requests to ensure all necessary information is included for correct processing.
- Reviewing Conflict Results Reports to identify true potential conflicts based on established guidelines.
- Conducting research to assess the materiality of potential conflicts when necessary.
- Researching the Conflicts Database and other firm documents to ensure appropriate conflict resolution.
- Contacting relevant stakeholders to clear potential conflicts.
- Communicating daily with the Manager regarding the resolution of potential conflicts of interest or any concerns related to pending requests.
- Documenting and organizing records regarding the resolution of potential conflicts of interest thoroughly.
- Maintaining contact with attorneys and staff concerning conflict of interest matters.
- Tracking the status of outstanding or ongoing Work Flow requests.
- Handling special projects assigned by the Director of Conflicts Operations and Conflicts Managers.
Education and Experience Information:
- A High School Diploma or GED is required; a 2- or 4-year degree is preferred.
- 3-5 years of experience is required, preferably in a professional services environment.
- Previous experience with Intapp is required.
- The ability to organize and prioritize tasks and complete them under time constraints is necessary.
- The ability to perform effectively with moderate supervision and within established time limits and ongoing deadlines is essential.
- The ability to interact effectively and professionally and provide exceptional service is expected.
- The ability to respond to requests requiring analysis and decision-making for new clients/matter processing is required.
Salary Information:
Compensation for the role of Conflicts Analyst at the law firm is commensurate with skill and experience, with the exact amount varying based on skills, experience, location, and other factors permitted by law. Expected compensation ranges for this position in various states and jurisdictions are as follows:
- California: $53,000 - $102,000
- Colorado: $49,000 - $88,000
- Illinois: $48,000 - $94,000
- Massachusetts: $53,000 - $102,000
- Maryland: $52,000 - $78,000
- Minnesota: $53,000 - $88,000
- Jersey City, NJ: $58,000 - $105,000
- New York: $50,000 - $107,000
- Vermont: $59,000 - $113,000
- Washington: $52,000 - $98,000
- Washington, .: $69,000 - $101,000
These salaries do not include a discretionary bonus, which is non-guaranteed and dependent upon individual and firm performance.
