Responsibilities:
- Recruitment and retention of staff and attorneys
- Conducting onboarding and orientation for new hires
- Fostering an environment of engagement and culture
- Providing guidance on employee relations and benefits
- Managing legal support staff
- Resolving complex employee relations issues
- Coaching managers on employee-related issues
- Overseeing performance management process
- Assisting with training and career development
- Administering HR processes and policies
- Supporting change management
- Acting as a resource for staff and attorneys on learning expectations and goals
- Developing and implementing local training programs
- Assisting with other department activities as needed
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business, or related field
- Minimum of 10 years of experience in Human Resources or related field
- PHR/SPHR or SHRM-CP/SCP certification preferred
- Experience with recruiting and understanding of HR best practices
- Knowledge of employment laws and practices
- Understanding of benefits and compensation programs
- Proficiency in ATS and HRIS systems, preferably with Workday
- Strong computer skills, including Microsoft Office Suite and Adobe
