Job Title: Experience and Submissions Manager
Job Responsibilities:
Team Leadership/Procedurals
- Manage the day-to-day activities of the Experience & Submissions team.
- Create and drive adoption of best practices for data collection, directory, and league table submissions.
- Provide guidance, coaching, and training as needed.
- Coordinate with and leverage the law firm’s contracted consultant where appropriate.
Experience Management
- Lead quality assurance on experience data captured by the Experience & Submissions team.
- Oversee key relationships with legal teams to ensure consistency between practices and sectors in recording data.
- Represent the experience and submissions team with legal teams, driving data standards agenda.
Submissions Oversight
- Lead the management and oversight of submissions to ensure timely entry to league tables and directories.
- Project manage high-priority submissions, ensuring alignment with the law firm's strategy.
- Maintain the submissions and league tables calendar, tracking statuses in real time and providing updates and notifications as necessary to ensure deadlines are met.
Research and Development
- Research submissions and awards not currently entered by the law firm and provide guidance and structure on potential awards.
- Work with the Sr. Manager, BD Operations, and the Digital Technology & Data (DTD) team to hone analytics and reporting processes.
Education and Experience Information:

- Deep legal industry experience with directories, rankings, submissions, and league tables, including Chambers, Legal 500, and PitchBook.
- Proficiency in data analysis with an ability to leverage data to meet key goals and objectives.
- Strong people management skills and experience, with the ability to lead and coach team members.
- Superb verbal and written communication skills, including the ability to craft a compelling story.
- Excels at managing multiple tasks and deadlines with excellent prioritization skills.
Salary Information:
- The expected salary range for this position varies by location:
- California Major Markets: $101,000 - $175,000
- New York City: $116,000 - $175,000
- National: $91,000 - $116,000
- California Major Markets include San Francisco, Silicon Valley, Los Angeles, Orange County, Santa Monica. All other California locations fall within the National range.
- Other compensation may include an annual discretionary merit bonus, determined by firm and individual performance.
