Job Title: Litigation Paralegal
Job Responsibilities:
The Litigation Paralegal at the law firm is tasked with a variety of responsibilities critical to supporting attorneys and managing legal cases. Key duties include:
- Proficiency in both federal and state court procedures, including the requirements for E-Filing in federal court.
- Conducting research, preparing for pre-trial proceedings, and providing trial assistance.
- Managing multiple attorneys' caseloads, which involves coordinating heavy scheduling and calendaring for attorney meetings, court deadlines, and depositions.
- Maintaining heavy client contact, including interactions with witnesses and opposing counsel, to gather pertinent case information.
- Organizing records, documents, correspondence, and files into a manageable format for easy access and reference.
- Demonstrating a strong work ethic and maintaining a consistent schedule.
- Utilizing a document management system effectively.
Education and Experience Information:
To qualify for the Litigation Paralegal position at the law firm, candidates must meet the following education and experience requirements:
- A minimum of 4 years of experience as a Paralegal.
- Specific experience in Labor and Employment law.
- Possession of a Paralegal Certificate.
- Residency in California is required.
Salary Information:
The position offers a competitive salary range of $70,000 to $85,000 per year, based on the candidate's experience and qualifications.
