The law firm of **Members Only** is currently seeking a Practice Development Coordinator for their Litigation department. This is a hybrid role that involves both marketing and business development responsibilities. The ideal candidate will have at least 3 years of experience in a professional services setting, preferably in a law firm. This position may be filled in either Illinois or New York, with a base salary ranging from - . In this role, the Practice Development Coordinator will provide support to the firm's Marketing Department and assigned Litigation Section/Practice Group. This includes assisting with event management, coordinating marketing projects, preparing practice development materials, and updating attorney biographies and other related information. The coordinator will also assist with internal and external communications, publications, and surveys.

Key responsibilities for this position include:

- Assisting and coordinating marketing and business development projects, taking ownership from inception through implementation.
- Working with attorneys to develop and prepare customized materials for client presentations and responding to requests.
- Conducting basic industry, prospect, firm experience, and competitor research.
- Updating and maintaining the firm's practice development information, including marketing collateral, legal directory submissions, and practice group descriptions.
- Planning, coordinating, and managing practice-specific events, webinars, proposals, and communications.
- Developing relationships with lead partners in the practice areas.

The ideal candidate will have exceptional communication, organizational, and project management skills, as well as the ability to meet deadlines and handle a wide range of support duties. Strong editing and proofreading skills are essential, as well as proficiency in MS Office. The coordinator will work closely with the Practice Development team and Real Estate Section attorneys to develop new marketing initiatives.

To qualify for this position, candidates must have at least a Bachelor's degree and 3+ years of relevant experience in a professional services setting. A background in a law firm is preferred. The ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, service-oriented environment and strong oral and written communication skills are also required.
