Job Title: Director of Litigation Technology
Job Responsibilities:
- Manage a team of e-Litigation professionals, overseeing hours, productivity, workload, and resource availability, and providing regular feedback and guidance to ensure alignment with the law firm's vision and values.
- Develop and execute a vision for litigation-support technology solutions and services, leading the identification, evaluation, selection, and implementation of e-Litigation services and technologies.
- Lead the evaluation and integration of AI technologies to streamline discovery, document review, and other litigation processes.
- Establish and implement processes and procedures to ensure efficient and effective delivery of e-Litigation services, including quality control procedures for document productions.
- Lead internal awareness outreach to encourage technology adoption, develop best practices, and ensure consistency and efficiency.
- Oversee the creation and maintenance of e-Litigation content and internal resources such as checklists and guides.
- Provide training and support on litigation-support systems and e-Discovery and Litigation Technology issues and solutions.
- Manage the law firm's e-Litigation technology portfolio, critically evaluating tools and services to align with the firm’s evolving needs.
- Stay current on e-Discovery, litigation technology, and litigation-support issues, best practices, technologies, and services.
- Assist e-Discovery counsel and other attorneys with direct assistance through the e-Litigation lifecycle.
- Participate in cross-functional team projects to implement new or updated technology and liaise between departments to ensure practice-support services meet expectations.
- Build collaborative relationships with attorneys, timekeepers, and professionals across the law firm.
- Manage vendor relationships to ensure overall service levels, including communication, contract negotiation, billing, and operational processes.
- Proactively assume other duties and special projects as necessary.
Education and Experience Information:
- Bachelor’s degree required, JD preferred.
- Minimum of 10 years’ experience with litigation and e-Discovery services, including managing complex document review projects.
- Thorough knowledge of the litigation lifecycle and eDiscovery processes.
- Experience supervising e-Litigation professionals.
- Proven track record of developing and leading initiatives and process improvements in a collaborative environment.
- Strong communication skills, attention to detail, and ability to adhere to confidentiality policies.
- Versatile and organized, capable of responding quickly to shifting demands.
- Proven record of building and managing a high-performing, geographically distributed team.
Salary Information:
- An attractive compensation package tailored to experience.
- Target base compensation of $215,000–$265,000 per year (exempt).
