Job Title: Scheduling Secretary

Job Responsibilities:

- Manage the scheduling of conference calls with attorneys, mediations, court appearances with clients, expert witnesses, other law firms, settlement conferences, oral arguments, and trials.
- Handle miscellaneous administrative duties such as composing professional correspondence, proofing documents, copying, filing, and handling general office duties as needed.
- Professionally answer and handle phone calls and respond to emails, acting as a client liaison on practice matters.
- Work with witnesses and other law firms to coordinate deposition and trial testimony.

Education and Experience Information:

- The right candidate will have at least two years of civil litigation experience.
- Experience in Personal Injury matters is preferred.
- Comprehensive knowledge of Microsoft Office is a must.
- The ideal candidate will be self-directed and detail-oriented with a high level of accuracy.
- Able to organize and manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to maintain a high level of discretion, judgment, and confidentiality, professional and ethical standards in communications with both external and internal parties.
- Well-organized and able to see an assignment through to successful conclusion.
- Self-directed; able to think analytically and solve problems with little direction.
- Able to demonstrate a customer service demeanor regardless of the person or issue at hand.
