Job Title:
Innovation Analyst

Job Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with lawyers and operations colleagues to identify innovative solutions that enhance client services and solutions, focusing on efficiency, transparency, and access to information.
- Evaluate and understand legal, client, and business process needs and opportunities, recommending approaches, improvements, or solutions in conjunction with Client & Innovation Office colleagues.
- Coordinate and schedule meetings and demonstrations with vendors, manage the vendor assessment process, and provide clear communication and directions to participants and stakeholders.
- Oversee and support pilot programs and proof of concepts, managing internal communications, setting expectations, scheduling, encouraging adoption, soliciting feedback, and providing necessary follow-ups and support.
- Onboard new and existing platforms, provide user support, and coordinate with IT, Training, and other key stakeholders to ensure user access, integration, and utilization.
- Collect, consolidate, and update a list of practice support and client-facing applications and tools, describing their functions, monitoring usage, and detailing any Gen AI features.
- Manage the Client & Innovation Office's intranet pages and update them with helpful and accessible information.
- Manage Client & Innovation Office-led collaboration portals, including creating new sites and site features and providing training and support to internal and external clients.
- Provide ongoing support on education and awareness initiatives and user engagement.
- Contribute to documentation that records business problems, anticipated solutions, requirements, constraints, and progress related to innovation initiatives.
- Create prototypes using low-code or no-code platforms such as Smartsheet, PowerBI, and the Microsoft suite.
- Utilize information-gathering and sharing techniques such as flow charts, process maps, decision trees, and wireframes to plan resources, time, and budgets.
- Collaborate with other members of the Client & Innovation Office and IT to build and maintain relationships with vendors, maximizing existing platforms and identifying new ones.
- Serve as a liaison between legal and operations colleagues.
- Bring creative energy to discovering, developing, and sharing ideas and solutions with internal stakeholders, promoting the benefits of various tools, platforms, and approaches.
- Participate in the assessment and selection of legal technology.
- Stay informed about the state of the legal industry and opportunities for innovation, including changes to the Microsoft Office suite.
- Perform other duties as assigned.

Knowledge, Abilities, Skills, Interpersonal and Other Requirements:
- Simplify and summarize complex information for presentation to executives, lawyers, and clients.
- Operate standard office equipment including computers, printers, telephones, photocopiers, scanners, calculators, etc.
- Regularly lift and/or move up to 10 pounds.
- Work independently and on cross-functional teams.
- Demonstrate time management and project management skills to meet objectives, prioritize work, and manage time.
- Expertise with collaboration platforms (., SharePoint, HighQ, MS Teams), Business Intelligence/ETL platforms (MS Power BI), NLP/ML contract analysis tools (., Kira, Luminance, ContraxSuite), Smartsheet, Excel, and the Microsoft Office suite, and Gen AI Tools.
- Possess excellent reading, writing, grammar, spelling, punctuation, proofreading, and formatting skills for analyzing information and creating communications.
- Perform mathematical calculations and apply mathematical concepts, including basic statistics such as variance, z-scores, and regression.
- Commit to solving problems with persistence and patience, continuously improving solutions for internal and external clients.
- Prioritize customer service, listen to clients, and make them feel welcome and respected.

Education & Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in a related field.
- Five or more years of experience working within a large law firm is highly preferred, but not required.
- Ideally, one or more years of work experience and/or formal training in emerging legal technologies, process improvement, design thinking, and/or data science.
- Familiarity with attorney work product.
