Job Title: Manager, Alumni Relations

Job Responsibilities:
The Manager, Alumni Relations is tasked with driving the alumni relations program in alignment with the law firm's strategic plan. This role involves fostering an inclusive community through the Foley Alumni Network, where alumni can connect with former colleagues and current firm members. The manager encourages alumni to stay connected and act as advocates for the firm. Key responsibilities include:

- Planning and executing the alumni program's plan to advance the firm's strategy.
- Collaborating with sector and department chairs, office managing partners, and the business development and talent teams to develop strategy, action plans, and infrastructure to support program goals.
- Building knowledge of the firm's key clients, sectors, industries, practice groups, and regions to understand each group's strategy, priorities, and clients.
- Upholding and developing a budget for the alumni relations program.
- Identifying and executing alumni-focused initiatives that support business development goals, such as networking events and referral networks.
- Planning and executing campaigns and events to foster strong relations with firm alumni, including community events, affiliate groups, and tailored CLE programs.
- Collaborating with the talent team to identify career opportunities and resources for alumni.
- Researching and updating alumni information in the firm's CRM system using LinkedIn, Profile Synch, news reports, etc.
- Optimizing workflows and processes integral to the program's operational success.
- Preparing and distributing reports on metrics and KPIs related to alumni demographics, such as location, industry, sector, practice group, etc.
- Coordinating with the communications team to create internal and external communications strategies that engage and inform alumni about developments and opportunities at the firm.
- Driving the value proposition and internal marketing materials that articulate the value, benefits, and goals of the alumni relations program.
- Ensuring the alumni program is recognized as a market-leading program in the industry.

Education and Experience Information:
- A is required.
- A minimum of ten (10) years of experience in business development, marketing, talent, relationship management, or communications is required.
- Experience in a professional services environment is mandatory.
- Prior experience or a solid understanding of alumni relations programs in professional services is strongly preferred.
- Knowledge of or experience with a contact relationship management (CRM) system and alumni management software/portal technology is a plus.

Salary Information:
In support of transparency and equity in the workplace, the law firm provides salary ranges for all positions. The figures below represent the full compensation range for this position. The actual offered amount will be between the range minimum and midpoint based on factors such as education, experience, geographic market, and internal pay equity at the law firm.

- Detroit, Milwaukee & Tampa: $113,500 to $170,300
- Chicago, Dallas & Denver: $124,900 to $187,300
- Los Angeles: $130,500 to $195,800
- Boston & Washington .: $136,200 to $204,400
