The law firm presents an exciting opportunity for an Information Technology Engineer, Developer. This role is ideal for someone eager to be a valued contributor and member of a talented and dynamic team composed of lawyers, paralegals, and business professionals. The Information Technology Engineer, Developer will be responsible for supporting the design, testing, and documentation of integration solutions, as well as delivering effective technical support and maintenance for a variety of software and systems applications.

Job Responsibilities:
- Support implementations, upgrades, and maintenance of enterprise application systems according to best practices and the Software Development Life Cycle.
- Assist senior staff in software analysis, testing, and documentation.
- Design, analyze, test, and document integration solutions.
- Define, design, develop, test, and implement software application delivery.
- Evaluate and test software application programs.
- Program and write software scripts with databases, including coding and analysis.
- Document application system design and capabilities.
- Analyze application system reports and monitor applications, database systems, and processes to report technical issues.
- Resolve software application issues and provide technical support to user requests promptly, including emergency support as needed.
- Design, build, and maintain SCCM databases and systems, and monitor and analyze databases and other applications for optimization and trending.
- Test and evaluate developed applications and packages, ensuring proper security is applied to applications development.
- Support the implementation or replacement of new software projects involving the Desktop environment, including upgrades and installations.
- Work with IT Subject Matter Experts to ensure software applications meet firm requirements.
- Evaluate new products and maintain awareness of industry software updates.
- Maintain thorough knowledge of existing computer systems and applications from infrastructure to the desktop to identify improvements.
- Maintain strong working knowledge of integrated applications such as InterAction, Outlook, and Word.
- Collaborate with IT staff on technology-related issues as needed.

Education and Experience Information:
- A Bachelor’s degree in a computer-related field from an accredited college or university is required.
- An equivalent combination of an Associate’s degree and experience in the computer science field will be accepted.
- Microsoft Certification, MCSE, and SCCM/VM Engineer Certification are preferred.
- Either 2 years of experience working with Windows software applications in a legal environment or an Associate Degree in a computer-related field along with 3 years of experience is desirable.
- Thorough knowledge of Windows O/S, DOS, SMS, VM Ware, Desktop/Server Communications, Applications Development products, and associated software applications is required.
- Effective understanding and use of Windows-based workstations/servers, peripherals, and associated applications, SMS and applications development systems, including SMS application creation, administration, and management, software and applications development, distribution, and desktop management software.
- Knowledge and experience with database systems, including SQL database design, security, and analysis.
- Excellent interpersonal communication, written, and verbal communication skills are required.
- Demonstrated problem-solving skills in a timely manner and good customer service interaction are required.
- Ability to shift perspectives to see both the Technology Department’s and the end users’ goals and experiences.
- Good judgment and ability to interact effectively with attorneys and firm personnel at all levels with a high degree of professionalism are required.
- Ability to prioritize and handle multiple priorities simultaneously.
- Ability to lead by example and work with staff and firm management in a service-oriented, team environment.

Salary Information:
This is a remote role, and the salary is commensurate with years of relevant experience and geographic location. The salary ranges for this position vary depending on the geographic location and other factors such as experience, internal equity, market data, and job-related considerations. The range for this position is from $82,200 to $157,000, with offers contingent upon various factors.
