Job Title: Hospitality Clerk
Job Responsibilities:
The Hospitality Clerk at the law firm is responsible for creating a welcoming and professional environment for employees, clients, and guests. This role involves managing food and beverage services, coordinating with local vendors, preparing conference rooms, supporting internal events, and providing general assistance to ensure the smooth operation of the office.
Food & Beverage Coordination:
- Select, order, and coordinate daily catering and meal services for meetings, depositions, and client events.
- Develop and maintain relationships with preferred local restaurants and vendors.
- Monitor and manage kitchen and pantry inventory; restock supplies as needed.
- Ensure food presentation and cleanliness standards are consistently met.
Conference Room & Meeting Support:
- Set up and break down conference rooms for meetings, including arranging furniture, food, beverages, and technology as needed.
- Maintain cleanliness and readiness of meeting spaces throughout the day.
- Provide day-of support for high-profile meetings and visiting clients.
- Coordinate scheduling of conference rooms and coordinate meetings and other hospitality services.
- Coordinate with other departments, including marketing, IT, and across offices as needed.
Client & Guest Services:
- Greet and assist clients, guests, and visiting professionals to ensure a positive and seamless experience.
- Provide concierge-level support, including arranging transportation, meals, or other special requests.
Administrative & General Office Support:
- Partner with administrative staff to provide support where needed, including special projects and general office upkeep.
- Assist with deliveries, mail distribution, and coordinating office service vendors.
- Provide back up support to the Office Administrator, Receptionist, and Office Services Team, as needed.
- Perform all other duties as assigned.
Education and Experience Information:
Education:
- High School Diploma or GED required.
- Associate's or Bachelor’s degree preferred.
Experience:
- 2+ years of experience in hospitality, office services, event coordination, or a similar client service role.
Skills:
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with a polished, professional demeanor.
- Strong organizational and time-management abilities.
- Proactive, adaptable, and comfortable working in a fast-paced, client-focused environment.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel); experience with scheduling systems is a plus.
