Job Title: Bankruptcy Processor - Remote Work from Home
Job Responsibilities:
The Bankruptcy Processor at the law firm is responsible for a range of duties aimed at ensuring the smooth handling of bankruptcy files and processes. Key responsibilities include:
- Reviewing and determining the necessity of Fee Notices. If warranted, obtaining the necessary documents, preparing Fee Notices for attorney review, filing, and serving the notice, and updating any applicable client systems.
- Monitoring and resolving Fee Notice Impediments through frequent follow-ups and escalations until resolution.
- Reviewing and interpreting client systems and updating data in accordance with client expectations.
- Regularly monitoring reports generated by both the law firm's and the client's systems to ensure timely and smooth handling of files.
- Verifying billing entries on each file and closing files accordingly.
- Performing additional duties as assigned.
Education and Experience Information:
- A High School Diploma is required for this position.
- A basic understanding of the fundamentals of Chapter 7, 11, and 13 bankruptcies is highly preferred.
