Job Responsibilities
The marketing and content strategy coordinator at the law firm will be responsible for organizing and publishing content across various channels such as web, blog, email, video, and social media. This role supports a global marketing strategy that focuses on promoting the firm, elevating the brand, and maintaining a consistent external voice. The coordinator will report to the marketing and content strategy manager and collaborate with cross-functional teams, including business development and professional staff service departments. Key responsibilities include:
- Supporting and managing thought leadership publishing workflows, collaborating with stakeholders across the global team to ensure timely publication.
- Creating and publishing website marketing content, ensuring alignment across all relevant firm communication channels, including website, intranet, social media, and blogs.
- Ensuring content is correctly formatted, edited, tagged, and optimized for SEO.
- Producing a weekly internal thought leadership roundup report for the global partnership.
- Maintaining a content publishing calendar.
- Developing, updating, and maintaining lawyer bios, ensuring accuracy and alignment with firm policies and style guidelines. Tailoring bios for events, bylines, and other business development needs.
- Providing backup support to other Marketing and Content Strategy Team functions as needed.
- Analyzing and reporting on market trends and competitor activity.
- Measuring, tracking, and reporting on related ROI/KPIs.
Education and Experience
Candidates for the marketing and content strategy coordinator position should have the following education and experience:
- A bachelor's degree, ideally in a related discipline such as marketing, communications, public relations, journalism, or English.
- Two or more years of work experience.
Additional qualifications include strong grammar proficiency, exceptional business writing, editing, and verbal communication skills, attention to detail, and a commitment to providing error-free content. The ability to work collaboratively or independently, exceptional project management and process implementation skills, and the ability to manage multiple priorities and deliverables while meeting time-sensitive deadlines are also important. Strong listening and interpretation capabilities, as well as high emotional intelligence, are valued.
Salary Information
The estimated base salary for the marketing and content strategy coordinator position ranges from $75,000 to $85,000 at the time of posting. The actual salary offered will be determined based on various job-related factors, including skills, education, training, credentials, experience, the scope and complexity of role responsibilities, geographic location, and performance. This is a non-exempt role, meaning it is eligible for overtime pay.
