Labor and Employment Attorney
Job Responsibilities:
The primary responsibility of the Labor and Employment Attorney is to provide legal counsel and representation to health care organizations in matters related to employment law. The attorney will:
- Work with top-tier health care clients to address employment law issues.
- Utilize knowledge of substantive employment laws such as the Family and Medical Leave Act (FMLA), Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA), and Wage and Hour regulations.
- Engage in litigation, with a preference for those with experience in employment litigation.
- Collaborate with a national team of attorneys to advise clients of varying sizes on employment-related legal matters.
- Participate in ongoing mentorship and professional development opportunities to enhance legal skills and knowledge.
Education and Experience Information:
- Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
- Admission to practice law in the state of Indiana.
- 3-6 years of experience in employment law, demonstrating familiarity with key employment laws and litigation experience.
