Job Title: Associate Recruitment Manager - Western Region

Job Responsibilities:

1. Law Student Recruitment:
- Oversee law school outreach, including sponsorships, mock interviews, and student programming, in collaboration with the National Recruiting Manager and team.
- Manage on-campus interview (OCI) registrations and direct application submissions for participating local schools.
- Assist with attorney staffing for national-level school programming and team staffing.
- Oversee candidate travel arrangements and approve travel expenses.
- Manage the callback invitation process, including scheduling interviews and overseeing in-office and virtual interview meetings.
- Supervise the preparation of Recruitment Committee meeting statistics and reports, attend meetings, manage post-meeting action items, and ensure candidate correspondence preparation.
- Oversee post-offer follow-up activities, including scheduling second office visits and tracking candidates through the final hiring result.
- Manage preparation of post-offer candidate communications, including electronic surveys.
- Assist with the completion of post-interview season feedback.
- Supervise 1L resume collection and OCI process as appropriate.
- Implement efforts to improve firm visibility and brand at targeted schools.
- Support law student hiring and inclusion initiatives.
- Work with Recruitment Committee co-chairs to establish and meet recruiting targets and initiatives.

2. Summer Associate Recruitment:
- Serve as a key contact and information point for Summer Associates and others involved with the Summer program.
- Plan and manage Summer Associate onboarding and orientation, including pre-arrival marketing information and outreach.
- Oversee office Summer program initiatives, including mentor assignments, training, work assignments, and social activities.
- Manage evaluation processes, including oversight of evaluation files and scheduling for mid-Summer and exit interviews.
- Oversee planning and execution of Summer Associate social events.
- Manage the creation and dissemination of post-Summer surveys and analyze results.
- Provide management support for recruiting team members for Summer program execution.

3. Lateral Recruitment:
- Collaborate with the Manager of Lateral Associate Recruitment and practice area leaders to identify and analyze lateral hiring needs.
- Screen candidate resumes and work with firm attorneys to identify candidates for interviews.
- Oversee preparation and distribution of candidate and search firm correspondence.
- Support lateral attorney hiring initiatives and develop relationships with legal search firms.
- Ensure timely and accurate entry of candidate data into applicant tracking systems.
- Provide management support for recruiting team members in experienced lawyer recruitment.

4. Onboarding:
- Ensure all attorney onboarding is properly covered and local office onboarding needs are met.
- Oversee arrival information in firm applicant tracking and intake/HR systems.
- Manage orientation for incoming Associates in relevant offices.
- Provide management support for recruiting team members in California offices for onboarding of legal hires.

5. Other Responsibilities:
- Manage the preparation and maintenance of recruitment files for various hires in accordance with firm policies.
- Administer and maintain associate recruiting policies, operational procedures, and practices.
- Act as a liaison and contact for US office recruitment.
- Supervise, manage, and mentor recruiting staff, including training, coaching, and performance feedback.
- Assist with preparation of annual budget related to recruitment and onboarding initiatives.
- Maintain strong working relationships with internal and external constituencies.
- Stay informed about current recruiting practices in relevant regions and maintain professional memberships.
- Participate in the firm's Global Citizenship program.
- Handle other responsibilities and special projects as assigned by the Director of Associate Recruitment.

Education and Experience Information:

- Required Skills:
- Ability to build consensus, exercise discretion, and maintain confidentiality.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills.
- Ability to manage, organize, and implement detailed and complex projects.
- Strong interpersonal skills and ability to interact effectively with all levels of firm personnel/lawyers.
- Ability to work independently and remain composed under pressure.
- Strong supervisory skills.

- Education, Certifications, and/or Experience:
- Seven (7)+ years of experience in legal recruitment or a similar professional services company.
- At least three (3) years of experience in staff/team management preferred.
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work-related experience.

Salary Information:

- In Denver, the annualized salary range for this position is $138,385 to $175,125.
- In Los Angeles, the salary range is $151,570 to $191,810.
- In San Francisco, the salary range is $170,215 to $215,400.
- Salary depends on the candidate's overall experience and other job-related factors permitted by law.
- Full-time employees may be eligible for a discretionary bonus.
- Full-time and some part-time employees will be eligible for the firm's fringe benefits as they currently exist.
