Job Title: Workflow Coordinator
Job Responsibilities:
The Workflow Coordinator is an essential component of the Administrative Team within the Firmwide Administrative Support Center at the law firm. This role involves providing high-level legal and administrative support to attorneys, paralegals, and functional staff across various offices and practice areas within the law firm. Key responsibilities include:
- Managing workflow and assigning work requests to team members.
- Completing work requests and reviewing the work product of team members.
- Assisting with the training and mentoring of new team members.
- Building positive relationships and communicating effectively within a close team environment.
- Providing exceptional customer service and adapting to changing priorities.
- Occasionally adjusting schedules and working overtime to accommodate workflow demands.
Education and Experience Information:
- A high school diploma or equivalent is required.
- A minimum of ten (10) years of experience in roles such as legal secretary, legal assistant, paralegal, paralegal assistant, and/or legal workflow coordinator.
- Experience should encompass supporting both litigation and transactional practice areas.
- Advanced proficiency in computer applications, particularly the Microsoft Suite, and office equipment.
- Strong interpersonal skills and a high emotional quotient (EQ), with a desire to work effectively as part of a team.
- Excellent organizational skills, with the ability to prioritize multiple tasks and complete them under time constraints.
- Exceptional writing and proofreading skills.
- Strong communication and problem-solving abilities.
- Experience in a leadership or supervisory role, working closely with multiple team members.
