Overview:
- Provide day-to-day legal services for Paramount's Consumer Products team
- Responsible for licensing, marketing, and promotions for Paramount's characters and brands
- Reports to Senior Vice-President, Business and Legal Affairs

Responsibilities:
- Draft and negotiate intellectual property license agreements in various categories
- Negotiate agreements for marketing and promotion of Paramount's brands
- Monitor and research changes in state and federal laws related to consumer products
- Provide legal counsel to business clients regarding proposed opportunities and actions
- Maintain communication with key personnel and external counsel in technical areas
- Coordinate with internal business teams to determine priorities and deal points
- Perform other essential functions as assigned

Basic Qualifications:
- 8+ years of transactional experience in licensing and contractual agreements
- JD degree with excellent academic credentials and law firm experience in IP or commercial transactions
- Admitted to the New York Bar
- In-depth knowledge of contract and intellectual property law
- Experience drafting and negotiating intellectual property license agreements in the consumer products industry
- Excellent negotiation skills

Additional Qualifications:
- Experience with a major entertainment company, brand owner, licensing agency, or IP/entertainment law firm
- Excellent written and oral communication skills
- Ability to build strong relationships with clients at all levels of the business
- Strong project and team management skills
- Proficient in multitasking and prioritizing workload
- Collaborative and team-oriented mindset
