Responsibilities:
- Draft patent applications for innovative clients, including descriptions and figures
- Correspond with patent office about pending patent applications
- Advise patent litigation teams based on your technical and scientific area of expertise
- Interview inventors about new ideas
Qualifications:
- Strong background and experience in video compression technologies
- Experience with standard-essential patents related to video coding standards such as MPEG, HEVC, AV1, etc. (preferred)
- Advanced degree in computer science or electrical engineering
- 2+ years of patent prosecution experience
- Superior writing skills and excellent academic credentials
- Registered before the . Patent & Trademark office
Salary Information:
- Expected salary range: $100,000 – $185,000
- Salary offered will depend on individual qualifications and experience
