This hands-on role involves managing day-to-day operations, strategic planning, budgeting, and overseeing office services. The ideal candidate will have at least 5 years of experience in staff supervision and management in a professional services environment, preferably in a law firm setting.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage all administrative, support, and paralegal staff
• Develop and monitor office budget and expenses
• Work with HR Business Partner to address human resources issues
• Oversee office facilities and space planning
• Coordinate with global counterparts on architectural build-outs
• Participate in internal audits and maintain trust accounts
• Assist with billing and collections
• Coordinate with firm-wide functional departments on initiatives
• Maintain positive relationships with building landlords and local vendors
• Coordinate social events for the office and strategize external client events
• Travel may be required if assigned to multiple offices

Experience and Skills Required:

• 5+ years of experience in staff supervision and management in a professional services environment, preferably in a law firm
• Bachelor's degree or higher, or equivalent certification/experience
• ALA's Certified Legal Manager (CLM) program a plus
• Strong leadership, change management, and strategic thinking skills
• Knowledge of Microsoft Office suite
• Familiarity with all applicable employment laws
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
• Ability to handle confidential employee relations issues
• Proven ability to drive innovation and change while enhancing employee productivity and work ethic

Compensation:

The salary for this position will be determined during the interview process and will vary based on multiple factors, including prior experience, expertise, and market factors. The estimated range is $164,000 - $329,000.
