We are currently seeking a skilled Legal Assistant to join our litigation practice group in our Stamford office.

Duties and Responsibilities:

- Provide administrative support to attorneys working on litigation matters in Connecticut’s state and federal courts
- Assist with some out-of-state and multi-state litigation matters
- Manage multiple assignments, calendars, and scheduling efficiently
- Communicate professionally with Firm clients
- Work collaboratively with colleagues and other staff
- File documents in Connecticut’s State and Federal Courts, including Appellate filing experience
- Support multiple attorneys as primary assignments and provide back-up administrative assistance to others as assigned

Qualifications:

- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Excellent organizational and follow-up skills
- Attention to detail
- Mastery of all Microsoft Office applications
- At least 5 years of legal administrative assistant experience in a litigation department
- Working knowledge of LMS+ timekeeping software (preferred)
- Working knowledge of Worldox or other document management system (preferred)
