- Job title: Business Development Manager for Littler’s Southern California Offices
- Location: Multiple Offices (Fresno, San Diego, Los Angeles – Downtown, Los Angeles – Century City, or Irvine)
- Practice Area: Marketing & Business Development
- Salary range: $136,200 to $166,600 per year, plus performance-based bonuses
- Hybrid position, can be resident in any of the above-mentioned offices

Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute strategic plans to drive awareness and revenue for the office, in partnership with the region's Office Managing Shareholders
- Lead overall strategy and response for proposals and pitches, working with attorneys and corporate business development team members
- Identify, evaluate, and lead business development efforts for firm events and sponsorships, managing leads through the entire sales cycle
- Understand and communicate Littler’s value propositions and portfolio of services
- Partner with various firm resources to understand market trends related to labor and employment law
- Execute firmwide business development projects and initiatives as assigned
- Coordinate legal rankings and directories, such as Chambers, with the communications team
- Provide coordination and direction for regional seminars and conference sponsorships
- Orient new attorneys and staff on the roles and responsibilities of the Business Development department
- Provide input into the development of firm marketing materials and ensure availability for regional offices

Qualifications:
- Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work successfully with attorneys, clients, staff, and vendors
- Proactive, independent thinker with the ability to recommend alternative ideas and programs
- Excellent written and oral communication skills
- Ability to work on complex projects with minimal guidance
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Work, Outlook, Excel, and PowerPoint; CRM knowledge a plus

Education and Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, or business-related area, or equivalent on-the-job experience
- Minimum 7-8 years of marketing and/or business development experience, preferably in a multi-office law firm or professional services environment
