This position offers a unique opportunity to contribute to the firm’s records management program and work with a diverse range of clients and colleagues.

As an Information Governance Specialist, you will be responsible for managing the firm’s client and administrative records, both electronic and physical, throughout their lifecycle. This includes implementing firm policies and procedures, coordinating file circulation and storage, monitoring and managing document flow, and conducting quality assurance audits.

We are looking for a service-minded professional with a bachelor’s degree in a relevant field and/or relevant certifications. 1-2 years of office experience, preferably in a law firm setting, is also preferred. The ideal candidate will have strong communication skills, the ability to balance competing priorities, and a proactive and detail-oriented approach to their work.

Key Contributions:

- Implement firm policies and procedures for records management
- Coordinate file circulation and offsite storage requests
- Monitor and manage document flow and communicate status to manager
- Conduct quality assurance audits on files
- Assist with scanning and digitization efforts
- Coordinate secure shredding services
- Respond to inquiries from the firm's Information Governance mailbox
- Assist with file disposition in accordance with firm policies
- Special projects and additional duties as assigned

The Essentials:

- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field and/or relevant certifications preferred
- 1-2 years of office experience, preferably in a law firm setting
- Ability to work proactively with attorneys and staff at all levels
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to balance competing priorities in a fast-paced environment
- Highly organized and detail-oriented
- Must be able to lift and/or transport materials weighing up to 25 pounds
- Occasional travel to other office locations required
