Job Responsibilities:
The primary responsibilities of the Legal Secretary include supporting attorneys in litigation processes within the law firm. The candidate will be expected to manage tasks efficiently in a fast-paced defense law environment. Key duties include:
- Familiarity with the rules of civil procedure and e-filing in Oregon and Washington State and Federal jurisdictions.
- Attention to detail and organizational skills to maintain accurate records and manage documentation.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office products to prepare and edit legal documents.
- Experience in docketing, with Milana experience being advantageous.
- Excellent analytical and written communication skills to effectively collaborate with team members and assist in legal proceedings.
Education and Experience Information:
Candidates must have five or more years of experience as a legal secretary in a law firm setting. The ideal candidate will have experience working in a fast-paced defense firm, showcasing the ability to handle high-pressure situations and complex legal tasks. Familiarity with Oregon and Washington State and Federal rules of civil procedure is essential.
Salary Information:
The salary range for this position is between $65,000 and $87,000, depending on experience (DOE).
