Business Intelligence & Analytics Analyst
Job Responsibilities:
- Support the Business Intelligence & Analytics (BI&A) team in delivering critical insights to the law firm's leadership and operational teams.
- Drive actions that contribute to the firm's bottom line through collaboration with the finance organization, including Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A), Pricing, and Accounting.
- Create, manage, and enhance analytical tools to enable data-driven decision-making across the law firm.
- Transform disparate data sources into scalable data products and visualizations that effectively communicate business insights.
- Evaluate and enhance operational processes and data workflows for scale, simplicity, and reliability.
- Ensure the highest standard of data integrity and quality through the development of robust and automated quality control processes.
Education and Experience Information:
- Bachelor’s Degree required, preferably in a quantitative discipline such as Computer Science, Statistics, Engineering, Mathematics, or similar fields.
- Advanced degree or professional/technical certifications are beneficial but not mandatory.
- 1-3 years of work experience in a business intelligence or analytics role, preferably with some exposure to legal or professional services.
- Ability to analyze, structure, and contextualize vast, unstructured, or incomplete data.
- Demonstrated proficiency with data visualization tools such as Tableau, Power BI, Looker, and ThoughtSpot.
- Proficiency with data preparation tools such as Tableau Prep and Alteryx, and related querying languages like SQL.
- Proficiency with MS Excel, including advanced features like pivot tables and VLOOKUP.
- Strong verbal and written communication and presentation skills.
- Familiarity with finance and accounting fundamentals.

- The target salary range for this position varies by location and is commensurate with relevant experience: $72, - $97,.
