Job Title: Alumni Relations Assistant

Job Responsibilities:
The Alumni Relations Assistant is responsible for supporting the Manager of Alumni Relations and the Senior Manager, Attorney Recruiting Marketing in enhancing the law firm's alumni network and leveraging alumni relationships. Key responsibilities include:

- Assisting in planning and coordinating alumni events, activities, and professional development programs.
- Helping establish a standard format for alumni events and creating an alumni events toolkit.
- Validating, updating, and maintaining alumni contact and employment information in Salesforce and other systems.
- Coordinating the attorney departure process, including managing farewell events, alumni portal accounts, and information transfers.
- Assisting with content development for the law firm's alumni website and portal, and deploying content through various communication channels.
- Planning and executing alumni events, including networking events and integrating alumni into other firm events.
- Approving registration requests for the alumni portal and social media.
- Preparing and reviewing reports from Salesforce and the alumni website.
- Managing inventory for alumni relations team merchandise and gifts.
- Monitoring the Alumni Relations team email inbox and assisting with alumni portal troubleshooting.
- Updating and maintaining the alumni job board and resources.
- Acting as a knowledgeable resource for alumni-related information and data.
- Updating the Alumni Relations intranet page as needed.
- Processing and tracking expenses and invoices related to the Alumni Relations program.
- Assisting with monitoring the attorney alumni relations budget.
- Supporting special projects for the Senior Manager, Attorney Recruiting Marketing and the law firm as needed.

Education and Experience:
- A Bachelor’s degree is preferred; equivalent experience will be considered.
- A minimum of 1 year of administrative experience in a law firm, professional services, or corporate environment is required.
- Candidates should be self-motivated with good organizational, communication, and time management skills.
- Ability to work under pressure, multitask, and prioritize conflicting demands while maintaining attention to detail and quality.
- A working knowledge of Salesforce and PeoplePath is highly desirable.
- Strong judgment, flexibility, professionalism, and team player abilities are essential.
- The ability to maintain confidentiality and provide excellent service is required.
- Reliability, dependability, and a strong motivation to respond to requests quickly are needed.
- Must work well with all levels of law firm personnel and establish effective working relationships.

Salary Information:
The primary location for this position is Palo Alto, but other locations may be applicable. The base pay offered will depend on various factors, including the candidate’s qualifications, experience, education, certifications, and work location. The anticipated pay range for this position is:

- San Francisco and Silicon Valley: - per hour
- Austin, Boston, Boulder, District of Columbia, Los Angeles, New York, San Diego, Seattle, and Wilmington: - per hour
- Salt Lake City and all other locations: - per hour

Compensation may include overtime and a discretionary year-end merit bonus based on performance. The law firm offers a highly competitive salary and benefits package.
