Job Title: Paralegal, Senior Associate / Associate

Job Responsibilities:
- Review and negotiate commercial contracts, including sponsorship agreements, event contracts, and law firm engagement letters, while overseeing external counsel’s review.
- Advise corporate center and business partners on strategies to mitigate legal and business risks in vendor relationships.
- Assist in the daily operations of a technology solution to manage contract lifecycle and store executed commercial agreements.
- Review client-facing documentation.
- Provide support to the day-to-day operations of the Legal department.
- Develop and maintain spreadsheets and materials using data from across the organization.
- Oversee external counsel’s review of a high volume of commercial agreements and non-disclosure agreements (NDAs) in coordination with external counsel.
- Develop strong working relationships and partnerships with other teams to support client needs.
- Ensure that all Legal team records are stored in secure, organized file systems to support shared knowledge and compliant record-keeping.
- Perform special projects and other responsibilities for the Legal team.
- Coordinate signatures for documents and various materials.

Education and Experience Information:
- 3 – 4 years of experience at a major law firm or in-house legal department, with prior experience in commercial contracts preferred.
- Prior experience in financial services preferred.
- Bachelor’s degree required.
- Demonstrated drive for results and ability to prioritize risks and projects, focusing on what’s important in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment.
- Excellent planning and organization skills with meticulous attention to detail.
- Strong working knowledge of Office Suite, particularly Excel.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills.
- Solutions-oriented problem solver.
- Strong work ethic and a willingness to roll up sleeves to get things done.
- Team player with enthusiasm and intellectual curiosity to learn more.

Salary Information:
- The expected base annual salary range for this New York City-based position is $110,000 - $130,000.
- Actual salaries may vary based on factors such as skill, experience, and qualification for the role.
- Employees may be eligible for a discretionary bonus, based on factors such as individual and team performance.
