Job Title: Personal Injury Case Manager

Job Responsibilities:
- Engage in daily interactions with existing and potential clients, both over the phone and in person, to provide exceptional customer service and support.
- Order and manage medical records from healthcare providers, ensuring consistent communication with both clients and providers throughout the treatment process.
- Obtain necessary documentation to substantiate injury and liability claims, ensuring all evidence is properly compiled and organized.
- Communicate and negotiate with insurance carriers and healthcare providers to secure records, account balances, and achieve favorable case settlements.
- Negotiate reductions of outstanding medical balances with providers to maximize settlement outcomes for clients.
- Collaborate closely with multiple coworkers involved in the management and support of case files, ensuring seamless workflow and case progression.
- Maintain meticulously organized case files, ensuring all documents and correspondence are accurately filed and easily accessible.
- Prepare comprehensive demand packages and assemble necessary support documents for submission to insurance carriers, advocating effectively for clients.
- Interact with attorneys to present case synopses and provide updates on case status as required.
- Manage case files efficiently from intake to closing under the guidance and direction of an attorney.
- Perform other related duties as assigned to meet the evolving needs of the business.

Education and Experience Information:
- Bachelor’s degree is preferred for candidates applying for this position.
- Prior experience as a Personal Injury Case Manager is preferred, highlighting a background in handling similar responsibilities.
- At least 2 years of experience working in a legal position or as an insurance adjuster is preferred, demonstrating familiarity with the legal and insurance industries.
- Candidates should possess strong negotiating skills to effectively advocate for clients and achieve favorable outcomes.
- Ability to work effectively as a team player and adhere to established procedures is essential.
- Proactive interaction with clients, insurance companies, and medical providers is required to ensure smooth case progression.
- Candidates must demonstrate the ability to multitask, prioritize, and manage workload with a positive attitude and minimal supervision.
- Highly organized with the capacity to juggle multiple deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong writing and communication skills, along with attention to detail, are essential for successful case management.
- Extensive computer and database expertise, including proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook, is required. Typing speed should be no less than 35 words per minute.
