Job Title:
Lead Counsel, Sales, Reality Labs

Job Responsibilities:
- Advise clients on sales and marketing requirements for prescription eyewear in first-party and third-party sales environments.
- Work with insurance providers as needed for prescription eyewear solutions that span sales channels.
- Work effectively with a diverse, cross-functional group of attorneys and regulatory leaders.
- Draft and negotiate various types of agreements.

Education and Experience Information:
- A law degree or equivalent certificate is required to permit the practice of law, and candidates must be appropriately licensed and authorized to practice law for the company in their assigned work location.
- 5+ years of combined experience in law firm, chambers, or in-house settings.
- Experience with prescription eyewear sales and/or marketing, either within a medical device company, eyewear sales company, insurance company, or other related organization.
- Experience drafting and negotiating contracts.

Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience in retail sales, distribution, and direct-to-consumer sales risks.
- Ability to translate complex legal advice into actionable guidance.
- Experience reviewing marketing assets and counseling clients on how to optimize risk.
- Interest in the future of virtual reality, mixed reality, and augmented reality, especially as it pertains to eyewear.

Salary Information:
- $167,000/year to $233,000/year + bonus + equity + benefits.
- Individual compensation is determined by skills, qualifications, experience, and location. Compensation details listed reflect the base hourly rate, monthly rate, or annual salary only, and do not include bonus, equity, or sales incentives, if applicable.
- In addition to base compensation, the company offers benefits.
