Job Responsibilities
The Bankruptcy Supervisor will be responsible for the following:
- Supervise the respective team within the Bankruptcy Department
- Ensure client SLA and court deadline adherence
- Review scorecards, troubleshoot and remediate, as/if needed
- Oversee team pipeline, timelines, quality, and productivity
- Submit development requests to meet business needs of team (., report/document updates needed)
- Promote camaraderie, community, and communication
- Hold regular team meetings
- Inform team of any/all updates and ensure appropriate implementation
- Demonstrate fair and consistent accountability
- Manage team schedules, department coverage/PTO requests, timekeeping policy adherence
- Perform all duties and responsibilities in a timely and effective manner in accordance with company policies and client directives to achieve overall company goals
- Keep immediate superiors fully informed of all problems or unusual matters of significance and take prompt corrective action where necessary or suggest alternative courses of action which may be taken
- Help onboard and train new employees
- Lead by exemplary example
- Any/all other duties assigned
Education and Experience Information
Requirements:
- 5+ years of Creditor Rights Bankruptcy experience
- 2+ years of leadership experience
Preferred:
- Plan Review, Reaffirmations, Matters (NOPC, PPFN, NOFC) experience
