Job Title: Competition and Consumer Protection Compliance Specialist
Job Responsibilities:
- Support the establishment and maintenance of a robust risk and compliance framework.
- Oversee compliance with legal and regulatory consumer protection obligations.
- Develop and enforce comprehensive policies and guidelines.
- Conduct thorough risk assessments and implement effective mitigation strategies and contingency plans.
- Work cross-functionally to translate obligations across legal, regulatory, and self-regulatory domains into compliance requirements.
- Conduct risk assessments to identify key risks and priorities for the compliance function.
- Collaborate with product areas and functions to design business processes and controls for regulatory compliance.
- Review issues and incidents to assess risk and ensure remediation plans are adequate.
- Identify risk trends through external research and monitoring of regulatory priorities and consumer sentiment, translating them into actionable policies and standards.
Education and Experience Information:
- Minimum qualifications include a bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
- 7 years of experience in compliance, risk management, investigation, auditing, legal, or consulting.
- Preferred qualifications include an advanced degree in public policy, business, engineering, law, or a relevant field.
- Knowledge of the competition and consumer protection regulatory landscape and adjacent risk areas.
- Understanding of compliance program management principles, risk assessment methodologies, and internal control frameworks.
- Ability to collaborate and build effective working relationships with cross-functional teams, management, regulators, and external stakeholders.
- Excellent problem-solving skills with attention to detail and the ability to interpret regulatory requirements and assess their impact on business operations.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to articulate complex compliance concepts/requirements to audiences.
Salary Information:
- The US base salary range for this full-time position is $131,000-$192,000, plus bonus, equity, and benefits.
- Salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location.
- Individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
