Job Title: Associate Product Counsel, Core+

Job Responsibilities:
- Advise on an evolving portfolio of products and areas within Core, gTech, and the Functions.
- Identify and solve complex issues in areas such as generative AI, privacy, intellectual property (IP), open source, competition, content moderation/safety, accessibility, and consumer protection.
- Provide risk-calibrated guidance to enable compliance with existing and new laws.
- Collaborate with other legal teams, business teams, and cross-functional partners.
- Proactively assess legal risks and advise on products that will advance information law.
- Provide product counsel support for Core, gTech, and the Functions.
- Enable product teams to create cohesive experiences across **Members Only** products, unlock the power of data, simplify processes for developers, build integrated solutions to protect users, and empower employees with exceptional technology.

Education and Experience Information:
- JD, ., equivalent degree, or equivalent practical experience.
- 3 years of attorney-level experience in-house, at a law firm, or in government.
- Experience with generative AI, privacy, IP, open source, competition, content moderation/safety, accessibility, or consumer protection.
- Admission to the bar and in good standing or otherwise authorized to practice law (., have registered in-house status) in the state where the position is located.

Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with product counseling.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.
- Capability to make decisions in an ambiguous environment with imperfect information.
- Skill in managing many requests from varied client teams and balancing competing priorities with limited direction.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills, with the ability to clearly explain complex issues in writing and meetings.

Salary Information:
The US base salary range for this full-time position is $210,000-$312,000, plus bonus, equity, and benefits. Salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. Individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. The recruiter can provide more specific salary range information for the preferred location during the hiring process.
