Job Title: Immigration Paralegal

Job Responsibilities:
The Immigration Paralegal at the law firm is tasked with handling employment-based immigration projects for clients, focusing on both immigrant (EB-1, EB-2, EB-3) and nonimmigrant (H-1B, E-3, TN, L-1A, L-1B, O-1, E-2) applicants. Key responsibilities include:
- Communicating with employer HR representatives, individual applicants, and government agencies.
- Drafting petitions, letters of support, legal memoranda, and other documents to support immigration petitions.
- Assembling petitions and application packages, working with attorneys to approve and finalize them for filing.
- Utilizing specialized case management software to monitor deadlines, status, and progress of petitions and expirations.
- Tracking client communications and government correspondence.

The role demands quality and specialized document preparation, extensive client contact, and collaboration within a team-oriented Immigration Department. The paralegal works within a cohesive, well-managed, and well-organized team that includes secretarial and clerical support.

Education and Experience Information:
Candidates must have over three years of experience working as a paralegal or analyst in a business immigration practice. They must possess:
- Strong experience and expert knowledge in preparing complex immigration processes such as NIV, IV, and PERM applications.
- Proficiency in preparing RFE responses and PERM audit responses.
- Proficiency in Word, Outlook, and INSZoom or other document management systems.
- Outstanding case management, time management, prioritization, client service, and organizational skills.
- Strong business writing skills and a keen attention to detail.
