Job Title: Litigation Legal Assistant

Job Responsibilities:
- Professionally communicate with clients, experts, courts, and defense counsel to ensure effective case management and representation.
- Prepare documents for filing in both state and federal courts, ensuring compliance with all procedural requirements.
- Manage and calendar court deadlines to ensure all filings and court appearances are timely.
- Support attorneys in all phases of litigation, including case preparation, trial proceedings, and post-trial activities.
- Assist in drafting pleadings and complaints to initiate and respond to legal actions.
- Assist paralegals in propounding and responding to discovery requests, ensuring thorough and timely exchange of information.
- Maintain organized case files to ensure easy access and retrieval of documents and information.

Education and Experience Information:
- A minimum of 2 years of civil litigation experience is required.
- Personal Injury experience is highly preferred, indicating a familiarity with the specific legal and procedural nuances of these cases.
- Candidates should possess the ability to act independently as well as collaborate effectively in a team-based environment.
- Strong written and oral communication skills are essential for interaction with clients and legal professionals.
- Candidates should be confident working in a paperless work environment, utilizing digital tools for document management and communication.
- Knowledge of e-Filing systems and California court rules is necessary to ensure compliance with filing procedures.
- Meticulous attention to detail and excellent organizational skills are required to manage complex case files and deadlines.
- Typing proficiency of at least 40 words per minute is expected to facilitate efficient document preparation and communication.

Salary Information:
- Compensation ranges from $50,000 to $90,000, depending on experience, with additional performance-based incentives.
