Job Title: Business Development Coordinator - Marketing & Business Development

Job Responsibilities:

Business Development:
- Coordinate pitch materials and RFP responses for the law firm’s practice groups, including preparing detailed research and analyses of targets, and drafting and editing materials; monitor and track trends and report results.
- Create compelling PowerPoint pitches to support pitch meetings and presentations.
- Conduct research on targets for presentation to the law firm’s attorneys.
- Populate and assist in the management of an experience database and client list, and provide other business development database needs, as necessary.

Marketing:
- Coordinate and submit advertisements, logos, and other materials as needed for sponsorships and other external activities.
- Develop and distribute email marketing communications in partnership with the Business Development and Communications teams.
- Coordinate blog posts and other thought leadership with attorneys and Marketing Communications team.
- Develop and update marketing collateral.

Events:
- Coordinate events and meetings (internal and external) in support of practice business development activities.
- Provide support for, and execution of, law firm-hosted webinars and other in-person or virtual events.
- Coordinate marketing needs for law firm-sponsored events.
- Work with the marketing operations team on logistics for events.

General:
- Develop strong working relationships with other members of the Marketing and Business Development team and key partners in law firm practice areas.
- Provide creative input into the team’s projects.
- Perform other duties as assigned.

Education and Experience Information:

Education Required:
- Bachelor's degree, preferably in Marketing, Business, English, or Communications.

Experience Required:
- A minimum of 1 year of experience in a professional services organization.

Skills Required:
- Team player with a strong work ethic, willingness to proactively take initiative, and measure progress by impact over volume.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills and alignment with the law firm’s marketing tone of voice.
- Proofing and copyediting skills are critical to the role’s success.
- Ability to work professionally with the law firm’s attorneys using a ‘clients-first’ approach.
- Solid analytical and problem-solving skills, with a focus on return on investment of law firm resources.
- Proficient with PowerPoint, Excel, and Word.
- Detail-oriented, proactive, self-directed, and able to manage multiple projects under tight deadlines.
- Motivation to grow marketing and business development skillset.
- Willing and able to work overtime, as needed.

Physical Requirements:
- Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.

Salary Information:
The expected salary range for this position ranges from $72,000 - $82,000. It is not typical for offers to be made at or near the top of the range. Salary offers are based on a wide range of factors including relevant skills, training, experience, education, and, where applicable, licensure or certifications obtained. Market and law firm factors are also considered. In addition to the base salary and a generous employee benefits package, successful candidates are eligible to receive a discretionary bonus.
