Job Title: Senior Network Engineer

Job Responsibilities:
- Develop and design scalable, resilient, and secure network architectures to meet organizational needs.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements and align network strategies with business objectives.
- Install, configure, and maintain network hardware (., routers, switches, firewalls) and software.
- Lead the deployment of networking solutions and manage changes in the production environment.
- Monitor network performance, identify bottlenecks, and ensure maximum uptime.
- Investigate and resolve complex network issues, including root cause analysis and preventive actions.
- Implement and enforce network security policies, including firewalls, VPNs, and intrusion detection systems.
- Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations (., GDPR, HIPAA).
- Continuously evaluate and optimize network performance.
- Research and recommend upgrades, new technologies, or tools to enhance network capabilities.
- Document network configurations, changes, and operational procedures.
- Maintain an up-to-date inventory of network assets and configurations.
- Work closely with IT teams, vendors, and external partners to address network-related needs.
- Provide advanced technical support for escalated issues and mentor junior engineers.
- Lead or participate in network-related projects, including planning, execution, and post-implementation review.
- Manage timelines, resources, and communication for successful project delivery.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
- Proven ability to configure and manage networking equipment, including routers, switches, firewalls, and VPNs.
- Familiarity with enterprise-level networks and addressing complex networking challenges.
- Practical experience with networking protocols, such as TCP/IP, BGP, OSPF, VLANs, and others.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills for diagnosing and resolving complex network issues.
- Solid understanding of network security practices and tools, including firewalls, intrusion detection systems (IDS), and VPN configurations.
- Effective verbal and written communication skills for collaboration and documentation.
- Experience working on network-related projects, demonstrating leadership in system upgrades, migrations, and implementations.
- Willingness to adopt emerging technologies, such as cloud networking and Software-Defined Networking (SDN).

Education and Experience:
- A degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Network Engineering, or a related field is strongly preferred.
- 5+ years of experience in network engineering, including designing, implementing, and troubleshooting enterprise-level networks.
