Job Responsibilities:
- Master of Organization: Responsible for organizing case files and documents, ensuring meticulous maintenance and easy accessibility.
- Case Command Center: Handle case tracking, docketing, and scheduling to keep the team informed of critical deadlines and court appearances.
- Information Alchemist: Obtain, analyze, and summarize medical records, converting complex information into clear summaries.
- Preparation Pro: Prepare deposition, exhibit, and trial binders to ensure attorneys are fully equipped for every case stage.
- Key Communicator: Interact professionally and effectively with law firm personnel, clients, outside counsel, and court personnel.
- Data Dynamo: Create and maintain comprehensive spreadsheets and databases to support case management and analysis.
Education and Experience Information:
- Experience: Minimum of 3+ years of paralegal experience in Medical Malpractice, Insurance, or Personal Injury Defense is required.
- Outstanding Organizational Skills and Follow-through: Critical for success in this fast-paced role.
- Excellent Written and Oral Communication Skills: Necessary for effective information conveyance.
- Strong Analytical Skills: Required to dissect complex information and identify key details.
- Technical Proficiency: Familiarity with document management technology preferred. Highly proficient in Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, and Outlook.
