About the Role:

- Lead a team of lawyers responsible for supporting global employee benefits and executive compensation.
- Partner closely with Uber’s Global Benefits Team on all aspects of global employee benefits.
- Serve as secretary and counsel to Uber’s Global Benefits Committee.
- Support the people aspects of M&A and integration activities.
- Partner with and advise Uber’s Equity Team on equity plan and ESPP programs.
- Partner with and advise Uber’s business groups on fringe benefit programs.
- Partner with and advise Uber’s payroll and tax teams on employment tax issues.
- Stay up to date on legal changes affecting employee benefits.
- Build strong relationships with business partners in HR, tax, and legal.

Basic Qualifications:

- Minimum of 12 years of legal experience in employee benefits.

- Strong knowledge of ERISA, the Internal Revenue Code, HIPAA, and the ACA.
- Experience with global benefit programs.
