Job Description:

Barnes & Thornburg LLP, a top-tier law firm, is seeking a Labor and Employment Staff Attorney to join our Fort Wayne office. In this role, you will be an integral part of our Labor and Employment practice, working on a variety of litigation matters and potentially some commercial litigation matters as well. We are looking for a candidate with at least one year of litigation experience, strong writing and research skills, and the ability to work well in a team environment.

Responsibilities for this position include assisting on labor and employment litigation matters, drafting answers and pleadings, handling discovery matters and document review, and potentially working on commercial litigation matters. The ideal candidate will also have experience with EEOC, ADA, ADEA, FMLA, Title IX, and/or employment claims such as discrimination, harassment, retaliation, terminations, and employment agreements.

Qualifications for this position include strong writing, research, and analytical skills, as well as admission and good standing with the Indiana bar or eligibility to waive in. Candidates with previous experience as a Judicial Law Clerk are encouraged to apply.
