Thompson Hine LLP, a highly reputable AMLAW 200 law firm with 7 offices and over 400 lawyers, is seeking an experienced Labor and Employment Associate to join their team. This position is based in Cincinnati, Cleveland, Columbus, or Dayton, Ohio, and offers a competitive salary and benefits package, as well as potential for career advancement.

The ideal candidate for this position will have 4-8 years of experience in labor and employment law, with a strong focus on litigation and counseling. They should have a proven track record of successfully representing clients in a variety of labor and employment matters, including class action and individual lawsuits, discrimination allegations, wage and hour claims, and employee discipline issues. Experience with OSHA and federal clerkship is a plus.

As an associate in the Labor and Employment practice, the successful candidate will handle a diverse range of responsibilities, including conducting workplace investigations and trainings, advising on labor law issues, and providing general employment counseling. They should have a strong work ethic, excellent writing and research skills, and a superior academic record.

Key Responsibilities:
- Represent clients in labor and employment litigation, including class action and individual lawsuits
- Provide legal counsel on labor and employment issues, such as discrimination, wage and hour claims, and employee discipline
- Conduct workplace investigations and trainings
- Advise on labor law matters
- Collaborate with other attorneys and legal professionals within the firm
- Stay up-to-date on industry developments and changes in laws and regulations
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients

Requirements:
- 4-8 years of experience in labor and employment law
- Strong focus on litigation and counseling
- Experience representing clients in a variety of labor and employment matters
- Knowledge of OSHA and federal clerkship is a plus
- Excellent writing and research skills
- Superior academic record
- Strong work ethic and ability to handle a heavy workload
- Ability to work collaboratively with a team
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Admission to the Ohio bar (or ability to become admitted)
