Littler Law Firm is seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Data Analytics Paralegal to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for receiving, "cleaning," and loading client data for our data-based technological solutions. You will also work closely with our team of data analysts to assess the completeness of client data and develop recommendations for attorneys.

This position can be worked remotely from one of our many office locations, including Albuquerque, Atlanta, Austin, Birmingham, Chicago, Cleveland, Columbus, Dallas, Denver, Detroit, Houston, Indianapolis, Kansas City, Minneapolis, Miami, Orlando, Phoenix, Philadelphia, Portland, ME or Portland, OR.

Salary Information:

- Pursuant to Colorado regulation, to the extent this position is resident in Colorado, the salary range for this position is to hourly and includes eligibility for performance-based bonuses.
- Factors which may affect starting pay within this range may include geography/market, skills, education, experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate.

Responsibilities:

- Assess the completeness of client data and spreadsheets and develop recommendations for attorneys regarding additional data necessary for analysis.
- Receive employment related data in Excel and other formats and check its internal reliability and consistency using Excel, Access, and other database tools.
- Conduct exposure assessments, create class lists, extract data for discovery, and perform other computational analyses using client data and standard statistical modeling.
- Create and maintain settlement databases, including monitoring for duplicate claimants, determining settlement amounts for individual claimants, and communicating with case teams and opposing counsel.
- Analyze client data and spreadsheets using pre-established Excel procedures for compliance and audits.
- Interface with the client to help resolve consistency issues, obtain appropriately formatted data, or follow up regarding results of analysis.
- Be involved in the statistical evaluation of group termination decisions arising out of reductions in force and compensation differences.
- Use critical evaluative skills to analyze employment and payroll related data and ensure that the data is internally reliable and consistent.
- Review, manipulate, and transform data using Excel and Access.
- Comply with all security protocols of Littler and its clients.
- Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

- Strong knowledge of MS Excel, including the ability to run pivot tables, subtotals, link spreadsheets, use formulas, perform multiple level sorts, and run macros.
- Strong knowledge of MS Word and Outlook. Familiarity with PowerPoint also helpful.
- Experience with Excel Macros, VBA, SharePoint, Stata, and SQL a plus.
- Ability to organize and prioritize numerous tasks and complete them under time constraints.
- Ability to proofread typed materials and completed analyses for numerical, grammatical, typographical, and spelling errors.
- Interpersonal skills necessary to communicate and follow instructions effectively from a diverse group of clients, attorneys, and staff, and provide information with ordinary courtesy and tact.
- Attention to detail and accuracy, particularly with data input and data manipulation.
- Ability to operate standard office equipment, including personal computer, printer, copier, scanner, facsimile, and telephone.
- Demonstrated ability to work independently.
- Must be passionate about data and not afraid to ask questions.

Education and Certifications:

- At least five years' experience as a paralegal in a law firm or corporate law department or data analytics group is preferred.
