Overview:
- Opportunity for a Talent Counsel at a leading law firm
- Position can be based in any of Orrick's US offices or 100% remote

Responsibilities:
- Advise on employment law matters and serve as point of contact for international issues
- Stay updated on legislative and regulatory changes and assist in creating policies and trainings for compliance
- Review and revise internal policies for legal compliance
- Deliver training on employment law to team members
- Assist in drafting and negotiating employment-related documents
- Support benefits team with compensation, benefits, and immigration matters
- Handle pre-litigation employment matters as needed

Qualifications:
- Juris Doctor (JD) from accredited law school with strong academic credentials
- 3-5+ years of experience in employment law, preferably in a corporate or professional services environment
- Strong understanding of employment law topics such as discrimination, harassment, contracts, and benefits
- Ability to provide sound legal advice with minimal supervision
- Strong analytical, negotiation, and interpersonal skills
