Employee Benefits and Executive Compensation Counsel / Partner Thompson Hine is seeking a counsel or partner level health and welfare attorney to join its esteemed Employee Benefits & Executive Compensation Practice group. Position Overview The counsel or partner will be responsible for providing advice to businesses on all aspects of health and welfare plans, including wrap plans, cafeteria plans and flexible benefits arrangements; Affordable Care Act, COBRA, HIPAA, Mental Health Parity and Addiction Equity Act, TiC and CAA 21 compliance; drafting and negotiating service provider agreements; and resolving issues relating to administration of health and welfare plans. The ideal candidate will have strong experience providing proactive advice to employers on a wide range of compliance and litigation issues affecting health and welfare employee benefit plans.
