# Employee Benefits and ERISA Partner
Law Firm is currently seeking an experienced Partner to join its Employee Benefits and ERISA practice group. The ideal candidate will have a comprehensive understanding of employee benefits law, including qualified retirement plan design and compliance, sponsor and fiduciary risk management, benefit plan documentation, health and welfare benefit plans, ERISA claims and dispute resolution, governmental investigations and audits, and Affordable Care Act compliance.
## Responsibilities
The successful candidate will be responsible for:
* Representing firm clients in all areas of employee benefits law
* Developing and maintaining client relationships
* Advising on the design and implementation of qualified retirement plans
* Managing fiduciary and sponsor risks
* Preparing benefit plan documentation
* Handling health and welfare benefit plans
* Resolving ERISA claims and disputes
* Navigating governmental investigations and audits
* Ensuring Affordable Care Act compliance
## Requirements
The ideal candidate will possess:
* A JD degree from an accredited law school
* A minimum of 10 years of experience in Employee Benefits and ERISA law
* Ability to practice independently
* A portable and growing book of business
## Location and Salary
This position is available in Albany, Boston, Buffalo, New Haven, New York City, Rochester, or Syracuse and offers a salary range of $150,000 to $300,000.
