Summary:
Orrick Law Firm is seeking a Director of Threat Response Operations to join their team. This position can be based in any of their . offices or considered for 100% remote work. The Director will be responsible for identifying, responding to, and mitigating cyber threats, and will report directly to the Chief Information Security Officer. This role requires strong leadership skills, strategic thinking, and technical expertise. The Director will oversee a variety of services, including Incident Response, Digital Forensics, Data Loss Prevention, and Litigation Support.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and strategize for Incident Response, Digital Forensics, DLP Operations, and Litigation Support teams
- Collaborate with other departments and executive leadership to integrate cybersecurity measures into all facets of the organization
- Oversee cybersecurity crisis management efforts and develop response plans for major incidents
- Continuously evaluate and enhance security protocols and tools to mitigate emerging threats
- Manage budget and resources for threat response operations
- Mentor and develop team members
- Additional duties as agreed upon with the CISO
Qualifications:
- Strong leadership and team management skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- 10+ years of experience in cybersecurity, with a focus on security operations, incident response, and forensics
- Proven track record of leading remote cybersecurity teams

Compensation and Benefits:
The expected salary range for this position is $250, - $285,, depending on location. Orrick is committed to providing a comprehensive and competitive compensation package, including elective health benefits, mental well-being benefits, parental leave, and a 401K program.
